Hello from the Port! Well we survived Irene's havoc from yesterday and this morning, she finally passed over us around 5:00am, not too much damage, the flooding of the fields will last a while, but thankfully no one hurt. Our Prayers go out to the people in the areas along the Coast especially the Crystal Coast/Outerbanks which is north of us. Irene is not so forgiving there. I wanted to post a couple of pretty pictures that I found this week! The pictures are from a photo shoot in Middleburg, Virginia Courtesy of Style Me Pretty. It screams Nautical Prep.
I LOVE that Saying... I got a postcard in the Mail on Friday from Southern Wedding Magazine from Chapel Hill. Let me just say I feel at home instantly when I look at their Website. Their Southern Hospitality is amazing. Even though I cannot advertise with them at this exact moment. I appreciate the Handwritten Postcard Welcoming me into the Family.
Truly Love it!!
Ps. Here is TRUE Southern idea for an outdoor ceremony and reception..Bring your own Furniture instead of paying $$$ on items that you will never use again. Practical and Money Savvy!
Happy Sunday!! As I am planning my own Wedding, I have a Do It Yourself Spirit so Naturally I was doing some research on putting together my own Flowers from either a Farmers Market or COSTCO. I stumbled upon the Wedding Section on Costco.com and found amazing deals for Bulk Flowers.
Today I finally bought my Wedding Dress!!! After an unsuccessful trip on Thursday I bought my Amazing Dress from ALLURE Today from such an upbeat, beautiful Bridal Boutique in Shallotte, North Carolina. The Coastal Knot Bridal Boutique was so helpful and nice, the Mother-Daughter team lead me to the dress of my dreams for my Wedding. I was unsure of having a strapless dress but thankful they found the one that fit me perfectly. I am going to refer all my Brides to the Coastal Knot!!
How Cool is this? Look out Place cards!! Using Windows for Seat Assignments or Even to display your Food Menu is easy and Very Vintage looking!! I will have to try this out to see what markers work well with glass.
